Jax has been a beloved part of my family for 9 years, ever since I rescued her as a tiny kitten. She’s always been a source of comfort and joy, and it’s heartbreaking to see her facing such a difficult time. On Christmas, I found a lump on her leg, and just a few days later, the vet diagnosed it as a cancerous tumor. The news was devastating, but I knew I had to do everything I could to help her.

Jax had to undergo emergency surgery because of complications with her health. During the procedure, the vet discovered even more issues—she needed to have 7 teeth extracted due to severe dental problems. Despite the surgery, the vet was unable to remove the tumor completely, which means Jax will need radiology and further treatment to give her the best chance at recovery. The costs of her emergency surgery and ongoing care are overwhelming, but I am determined to do everything possible for her.
