Meet Jax, our adorable one-year-old Poodle Australian Shepherd mix! This lovable, playful goofball brings so much joy to our family, especially when he's wrestling with his fur brother or showering his big human brother, Jordan, with happy wags when he gets home from school. He's a big part of our lives, and we can't imagine our home without his happy spirit.

Over the past winter, our hearts sank as Jax became very sick. The scary sight of white gums and labored breathing led us to the emergency vet, where we received the difficult diagnosis: severe anemia. Thankfully, the vets have assured us that Jax can make a full recovery with the right support and treatment.

We've been doing everything we can for our sweet boy, managing initial vet visits and the start of his treatment with vitamin B12 and immunosuppressants. However, the next step in Jax's recovery is blood transfusions, and the cost is something we simply can't manage on our own right now.

The thought of losing Jax, especially when this is a treatable condition, is unbearable. He's family, and we're determined to fight for him. That's why we're reaching out to our amazing friends and family during this challenging time.
