Hello friends and community! I’m reaching out on behalf of my partner, Jax, who could use some extra support to get through the colder months ahead.

Jax has spent years working in hospitality and social services, showing up for others with deep care and compassion. After facing serious burnout, they’ve been rebuilding their health and stability while being supported by the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP). It's not much and it’s been a long road, but they continue to show incredible strength, creativity and resilience every day for making it work.

Right now, Jax and their sweet pup, Harrison Ford, live out of their bus. It's a wonderfully cozy setup that’s worked through the warmer months, but winters in Ontario bring new challenges. They don’t currently have the funds to properly winterize their bus or cover housing costs to stay warm and safe through the season.

This fundraiser is to help Jax find a stable, warm place to stay for the winter and to make sure both Jax and Harrison have what they need to get through these next few months comfortably. Every bit of support, whether financial or through sharing this page, means the world.

If you know Jax, you know how much love, wisdom, warmth and generosity they bring to this planet and the people around them. I’d love for our community to be able to offer some of that same care back to them now.
