Story:

Hello, my name is Sharita Bolden, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my son, Javontae. On Saturday, August 9th, our lives were turned upside down when we were hit at a stoplight by a drunk driver.

The impact was devastating. Our only vehicle was completely totaled, leaving us without transportation. Both Javontae and I sustained injuries and are now focused on healing, attending doctor’s appointments, and undergoing therapy. Unfortunately, the aftermath has also brought a financial burden that we are struggling to manage on our own.

We are asking for your support to raise $9,000. These funds will go toward:

• Covering medical and therapy-related expenses

• Keeping up with bills while we recover

• Securing another reliable vehicle so we can attend necessary appointments and get back to work

This has been a difficult time for us, but we are grateful to be alive and for any help we receive. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to recovery and stability.
