Tu música no muere. Vive en mí.

Please help us in supporting a dear friend, a fighter for justice and a woman who has stood up for so many others in her community, Veronica Ubaldo, in raising funds to put her husband to rest. Javier Pazos died unexpectedly in his home on Friday, July 25th. He was a husband, a father, a musician and a friend to many. His music could be heard at community events, churches and in backyard family gatherings. I remember Javier as quiet, humble, and caring, and as someone whose face would light up when showing off his plants growing in the garden! Javier's family needs our support to ensure that he gets a loving send-off from this world, and that his family is able to be here together to say goodbye.
There are no better words to describe Javier than those of his wife, Veronica:
Notes from my soul to my Love
Today I have to say goodbye not only to my husband, but to the man who knew how to turn my life into a melody.
Javier Pazos not only played the guitar and bass, he also touched the souls of those who listened to him. In every bolero, every ballad, every rock chord, he left a piece of his heart.
His music was profound, sincere, born of faith and love. As a Catholic, he lived with hope, and that same hope was transmitted with every note he played.
Sometimes he told me that songs are not played only with the hands, but with what one holds in the soul… and he played like no one else.
For me, his melodies were “notes from the soul to my heart,” an eternal gift that I will cherish as long as I live.
Although the silence weighs heavily on me today, I know that his music continues to sound on another level, higher, purer.
Thank you, Javier, for every song, every laugh, every moment. Thank you for teaching me that love can also be fine-tuned.
I'll carry you with me always.
Rest in peace, my love.
Your music never dies. It lives on in me.
