His name is Javier M. Torres. He is a brother to many, father of three great kids and a husband to a wonderful woman. He was diagnosed with stage 4, terminal cancer in early March. We, his family have exhausted every avenue to help find a cure for Javier. Last week he showed some improvements and this brought great faith to us. Unfortunately, this week his health has taken a toll for the worse, as his liver has stopped functioning and the doctors advised us he be brought back home to live the rest of his days surrounded by family and his homely comforts. A great dark cloud hangs over all of our heads as we wait; cherish every minute we have with him. We haven't lost faith, we know God will see him through. We hold on to all he has sacrificed for us, coming from a foreign land to build a better future for us here. He gave us everything and continues to do so even during these painful moments.
During his treatments, we have incurred high medical bills. We struggle to keep a float as the pandemic has limited our income. The bills keep us all up at night, not knowing how we can make a dent in them. Our father often gets sad that he is no longer able to contribute as he was always the provider for our mother. All we need is for our father, Javier to rest easy and not worry about financial crisis. We desperately need help, we ask that you please help with any amount possible. As we try and keep our heads above water while keeping our father's final days. stress free and comfortable.
