My name is Javier Loja, for the past year and a half I have been dealing with a medical problem that has been affecting many different areas of my life in a negative way. I've been experiencing on ongoing neuromuscular issue that causes a very uncomfortable pressure on the left side of my face in the maxillary sinus area next to my nostril, and a persistent muscle twitch above the left side of my lip, it has also affected my inner ear. This issue has also caused episodes of dizziness, nausea, headaches, short term memory issues, and nearly passing out in certain conditions that aggravate it. The answer to this mysteriously evil debilitating condition is still not fully clear.

Focusing my attention has become increasingly difficult and more and more a chore, it's been difficult to engage with others comfortably and socially, working and performing tasks has not been as feasible as it once was, and it feels as if there's a claw gripping this side of my face and head. This issue has been very debilitating and frustrating. I've had feelings of depression and helplessness in this fight against this evil. I tend to keep it to myself due to my own feelings of shame and not wanting to sour other people's mood with my worries and ongoing suffering.

These issues suddenly and gradually became increasingly noticeable and uncomfortable over the past year and half, and the onset of these issue began when I had a mysterious episode in November of 2023. The reason for why this started is unclear, and I've had a number of visits to doctor's offices and alternative practices with still no clear answer and a real path to relief.

I'm set to see a specialist in September who may be able to help uncover what's going on with my body, and hopefully provide a way to deal with these ongoing issues and maybe find some relief. Unfortunately these visits are not covered by my health insurance and will have to be out of pocket. The cost to see this specialist can be anywhere upwards to $2,000, and financially my family and I have not had the best go of it lately. Anything helps, and hopefully the answer and relief i've been praying for will be at reach in these visits, or at the very least a step in the right direction to halt this suffering.
