On May 2, 2026 at 11:40 A.M. after a long and courageous fight with cancer, my father passed away peacefully

I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, donations, prayers, and kind words during this incredibly difficult time. It truly means more to me and my family than we can express. While we are going through the process of setting up his burial site. The funds raised will now go toward funeral and memorial expenses. We deeply appreciate your continued support.

Hello, my name is Brandon Obando. I am raising funds for my father's cancer treatment (Javier Obando). He was diagnosed on November 1st, 2024, with a stage 4 cancer, glioblastoma (tumor on the brain). We started the process of immunotherapy for cancer in December of 2024. The treatment was not covered under our insurance, so we've been paying out of pocket and draining our savings and credit cards. He currently needs to go through more therapy and start the process of chemotherapy. He needs to be taken to a specialized facility in Arizona that will assist him through this process, because the tumor is growing more rapidly than expected.
