Javier Duarte was diagnosed with an aneurism on the right side of the brain. He had surgery at UC Health in Denver on July 21st where he ended up having 5 coils and a stint inserted. Javier was released and returned home for a few days before having a stroke on July 25th which ended up affecting his speech sensory. Due to high risk of possible second stroke, Javier was transported via Air Link back to UC Health in Denver. Drs are not sure how long Javier will remain at UC Health as he is undergoing further monitoring and testing. Javier is the primary provider for his family of 5. We are asking for any donations to help ease the financial burden this will inevitably cause the Duarte family.
