Thank you all for considering to help our family during this disruptive time in our lives. Earlier this year my husband Javier began not feeling well. It started with something as simple as sinuses. From there, different things started happening. Things like fatigue and trouble breathing. Javier was admitted to the hospital late July/early August and was diagnosed with Pneumonia. The hospital and the doctors felt that he was ready to go home, but after being home for 3 weeks his health didn’t seem to improve. Javier went back into the hospital on 8/29 and has been there ever since. The doctors are saying that Javier is being faced with an auto immune disease. In September, he was placed on life support in an attempt to improve his condition. Javier fought and made it through. He came out of life support and made it to physical therapy. He had to re-learn simple tasks we take for granted every day such as eating, standing and walking. In October, he went from being in physical therapy and showing huge improvements with a possible discharge from the hospital in a manner of days to being back in ICU and then on life support again. I (Tara) had continued working and visiting Javier in the hospital every day and taking care of our 2 ½ year old daughter with the help of my mom who has flown in from Colorado to California to help me with the baby. Our baby girl is too young to understand what’s going on but asks for her daddy every day. Recently, Javier was transferred to a larger hospital in a different city which is a minimum 2 hours away from our home depending on traffic. I have had to completely stop working as a result. The doctors at the previous hospital felt Javier needed to go to a larger hospital where a specialist is to help with his specific needs. This is why they moved him so far from our home. We could really use your help right now. If you would like to help us financially, your love offering would be most appreciated. Lastly, please do not contact our family to ask questions on how Javier is doing. Right now, that is too overwhelming for our family as our focus is on Javier and is health and his recovery. Our family would like those of you who don’t know us to know that we are  believer's in our Lord Jesus Christ and by the strips of Jesus Javier is healed! Javier WILL walk out of the hospital whole.
