Though we have successfully secured a venue and cast, we need your support to be able to bring our story to life and present it.

The Play

The classic tale of King Arthur is turned on its head when the audience decides who plays which role. With a mixed-up cast, emphasis on improvisation, and an exciting romance, The Ace of Swords is the feel-good, laugh-out-loud 90 minute romp that we all need right now.

The Ace of Swords was originally workshopped at the ROXY Showbox in July of 2021, and subsequently received several readings, most notably at Loyola University New Orleans and Florida State University.

Javi & Oscar's Story

This creative duo began their theatrical journeys independent of each other, but found each other at a 9th grade performance. We became stars in a high-school production of Beauty and the Beast as the most important salt and pepper shakers, and our mutual embarrassment sealed our friendship. Since then, we have performed in numerous plays and musicals, and co-written/directed some workshop productions!
