Hello, my name is Samantha, I am Xavier Rodela’s (Javi) mom. I am creating this GoFundMe to help cover his expenses as he will be traveling to Iowa to wrestle in the Pre-season National Recruiting Showcase.

Javi is a senior at Burleson Centennial High School and a 2023 UIL 113lb State Champion with an overall high school record of 130-14. His State Championship title has qualified him to compete at the highest level against some of the best wrestlers in the nation. Javi’s goal is to continue his wrestling career at the college level after high school. This tournament will be filled with college recruiters and will give Javi the opportunity to showcase his skills. Javi’s goal for this tournament is to win and obtain an offer for a scholarship to wrestle for a D1 college. If you know him, you know how hard he works on the mats. If you don’t know him, just know that his record and achievements show how dedicated he is to the sport of wrestling. It is rare that you find a kid with the kind of dedication that Javi has.
