Help Javeria attend Sewanee Writers Conference!

Hi, my name is Javeria Hasnain. I am a poet and a Fulbright scholar from Pakistan and completing my MFA at The New School.

I got into Sewanee Writers Conference (!) on a scholarship through which tuition ($1,100) is waived but room and board costs $900. The flight from LGA to Sewanee is between $200-300. Since I am on a very modest Fulbright stipend, I don't have funds set aside to attend writing conferences. I've exhausted my options from IIE (Fulbright) and my program, so am turning to community for raising $900 to cover the cost of housing during the conference.

The payment is due by May 31, so I am really hoping to reach my goal before/by then. This is especially important to me right now as I am unsure if I'll be in the US next year to be able to apply again. Thank you for considering and donating!
