The family of Jason Payne regrets to inform you that Jason at the tender age of 47 was diagnosed with liver failure in January 2024. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife Jill. At this time the doctors are doing all that they can to keep Jason comfortable while Jason plans to move to Massachusetts where he seeks a liver transplant. In Massachusetts, Jason will be surrounded by the love and support of family and friends during and after surgery. Jason may need to be air-flighted to Massachusetts as well as long-term hotel accommodations and other expenses for his family. Jason was born and raised in Boston and although he lives in Pennsylvania his love for Boston sports can be felt all around town. 

Since Jason’s diagnosis in January, Jason has had to face the difficult decision to move to Massachusetts in hopes of receiving a new liver. Jason’s family is asking for donations to support the transport to Massachusetts as well as the medical & living expenses they incur.
