Help Jason with Lost Income and Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Amanda Williams. I am Jason’s younger sister. I started this go fund me to help cover lost wages due to him being out of work for awhile and to help with any medical expenses his insurance may not cover.

Many of you may know, but for those that haven’t heard I want to give you an update on what’s going on with my brother Jason. At the end of 2021,shortly after he recovered from Covid, he had a spot show up on his nose. He thought it was pimple but soon realized it was something more. He had the spot removed and biopsied. After getting it tested he found out it was squamous cell carcinoma. The spot grew back 5 times the size or more. They dermatologist attempted to remove it all but was unable to she he was referred to an ENT Plastic Surgeon at Baylor Dallas. The news he received there was not what he was expecting. He was told he would be would be losing his nose and have to have reconstructive surgery or get a prothetic nose. Next week he is scheduled to have surgery if he chooses to go with Baylor. Unsure of when surgery will be if he chooses UT Southwestern. The process is going to be long and drawn out. It could take 6-8 months. He is meeting with a surgeon this week at UT Southwestern for a second opinion. She is going to see if it’s possible for him to not lose his entire nose. The good news is he had a CT scan done to see if it had metastasized and moved to his lymph nodes…..It is not in his lymph nodes!!! Please join me in praying for him. Pray for his healing and peace & understanding. He is having to mentally prepare for the months ahead. Pray for the doctors treating him and for his friends & family as well.
