11/8/2023: Update - Jason is doing much better. After pulling more fluid from his lungs he can breathe. Doctors are hoping to move him to a step down room today.

11/6/2023: Update - Jason's heart is only working at 30% and it is not strong enough to push the fluid all the way to his kidneys so it can filter. He again had fluid pulled off of his lungs today. He is still in ICU.

11/3/2023: Update - Jason went back to the ER with extreme difficulty breathing Friday night. He was taken back to St. Elizbeth Hospital in Beaumont. His lungs were drained of fluid and is back in ICU.

11/2/2023 Update: Kevin and I spoke with Jason last night and he is HOME! What a walking miracle he is and a testament to God's grace and mercy! He has a very long road ahead of him filled with many many doctor's appointments, therapies, possible surgery to remove some toes that were damaged with the medication they had to give him while in the hospital and multitudes of prescriptions. Jason will not be able to work for the foreseeable future and the financial burden for he and his family is immense. Please continue to pray for Jason and if you are able and feel led, contribute to this GoFundMe to help the family.

Jason is thankful and overwhelmed for all of your prayers and donations and is very excited to see how God uses him from here forward.

10/20/2023 Update: Jason's right ventricle has ruptured and he is back in ICU. He is scheduled for another open heart surgery today.

10/16/2023 Update: Jason is still hanging in there. He had fluid removed from his lungs this morning, however they didn't do surgery for the blood clots in his arm. The doctors are trying to dissolve them with mediation.

10/13/2023 Update: Jason has developed blood clots in his right arm and his lungs have fluid on them.

10/12/2023 Update: Jason is now in a step down room. Praise the Lord!

Hi, my name is Charlya and this is a fundraiser for my dear friend Jason Voth.

On October 6, 2023, Jason had multiple heart attacks and was life flighted to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. He underwent a Quintuple Bypass surgery on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Jason spent almost 6 days in ICU, was medically sedated and intubated and yesterday was moved to a step down unit. Praise God!

Jason also suffered a heat stroke this summer which put him in Tyler County Hospital for three days.

Obviously, Jason will be out of work for a long time and his wife Kelly is not able to work at this time while she is caring for him and seeing all his needs are met. They have 2 underage girls also who are thankfully able to stay with their grandparents while Kelly is caring for Jason.

Jason is a loving father, son, husband, friend, an amazing musician, and RN. In his profession he has spent years caring for people and now it is our turn to do what we can for him while he cannot care for himself.

If you feel led, please donate to help Jason and his family out during this difficult time. If you cannot, please continue to keep him in your prayers as he has a long way to go.
