Jason is living with ALS, a progressive and devastating disease that slowly takes away the ability to move, speak, and perform everyday tasks. While ALS has changed many aspects of Jason’s life, it has not taken away his spirit, his love for others, or his deep bond with his dog, Harry.

Jason’s greatest wish is simple and profoundly human: to remain in his own home, surrounded by familiarity, comfort, and the companionship of Harry, who has been a constant source of joy, comfort, and emotional support through every stage of this journey.

As ALS progresses, Jason now requires daily caregiving support for essential tasks such as mobility, personal care, meals, and safety. Unfortunately, the cost of in-home caregivers is overwhelming and not fully covered by insurance. Without this support, Jason may be forced into a care facility—something he hopes to avoid for as long as possible.
