
Help Jason & Shauna Save Their Home

YOU. HAVE. CANCER.
Those are three words that no one EVER wants to hear. Unfortunately, for my cousin, Shauna, and her husband, Jason, those were the words they both heard at each of their doctor’s visits; they were both diagnosed within months of one another. Shauna was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 20, 2021, and Jason’s diagnosis of Stage 3 colon cancer was given on February 16, 2022. Sorrowfully, Jason has now progressed to Stage 4 and the family is experiencing a financial hardship.
Jason is employed at UPS where he’s worked faithfully for the last 11 years and before his diagnosis, he was the primary provider of the family. He started chemotherapy for the second time on August 2, 2023. Since then, he has been very ill and the chemo is taking a toll on him physically. His treatments will continue through November 2023. Unfortunately, he has been unable to work since July 2023 when his cancer progressed and sadly, they may now have to sell their home just to make ends meet. We do not want this to happen. They worked hard to get their home and our goal is to help them keep it. Therefore, any contribution big or small will be greatly appreciated. This only serves as a temporary solution but any help will give them a chance to remain in their home and give them one less burden through this challenging time. Our goal is to keep any disruptions from occurring so that Jason can finish therapy, stay focused on getting well and by God’s grace, return to work.
