My name is Jason Ballek and this is my dog, Dax. Dax was recently discovered to have a tumor on his spleen and needs a surgery to remove it. Normally, this would be no issue as I work a great job...however, I have had to scale back at work to care for my 87 year old father with dementia. This blow in our budget is too much to overcome with having a major vehicle repair and with winter coming, heating oil. If you can help me and my dog, I would greatly appreciate it. Its crazy finally being on this side of a go fund me...but I really do need the help.

Update, Dax had to have a second surgery on Saturday to stop a bled in his liver. He is back at the vet on Monday as he is anemic and dehydrated. More followup to come.
