It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Jason Pleva, a beloved father and California native who moved to Washington a few years ago for a career opportunity. Jason had a deep passion for sports, especially for hockey. He had an adventurous spirit, always keeping a close eye on the weather, ready to chase storms at a moment’s notice. He will be deeply missed by his children Isaiah, Jessica, Yasmine, and Ben.

They are now faced with the difficult task of handling their father’s final arrangements while also mourning his sudden loss. All while living out in separate states in California and New Mexico. To support them during this incredibly difficult time, I have created this GoFundMe to cover their travel expenses and to help assist in planning their father's Celebration of Life.

No child should have to experience the heartbreak of losing a parent, so young and especially so close to Father’s Day.
