Support Jason Moxley Through Pancreatic Cancer

Hello, I am Anna DeVito and I have had the privilege of being Colleen’s best friend since we were 7 years old and Jason’s friend since I was 12! Jason and Colleen are in their 20th year of marriage and have two beautiful children, Cameron age 17 and Kyle age 13. To know them is to see how much they truly enjoy life and each other and especially being out on their boat wake surfing Crowley Lake just a few blocks from their home here near Mammoth Lakes, California. It is with unfathomable sadness that I am writing today with the news that our sweet Jason has been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver and is incurable. At only 56, we are devastated to say the least. The Moxley family is reeling with the news but knowing Jason is to know his great sense of humor and infectious smile. He is focused on taking one step at a time and remains steadfast in his good attitude for life and his love for his family and friends. Jason and Colleen will be driving the 5 hours to and from Crowley Lake to City of Hope in Duarte to receive treatment at this comprehensive cancer center. His journey will be deeply challenging however he is under the best care. In an effort to fight as best he can, Colleen will be juggling work and taking Jason for treatment. As you can imagine, the expenses involved for gas, food, lodging, medical bills, etc. are hurdles for them and we realize that they will need help from their community of friends from all over. To know Jason is to love him. He has always loved the outdoors, he is an excellent chef, can make anyone laugh at any time, and takes good care of those around him.
