Hello, my name is Jason.

Six months ago, I lost my job due to massive government layoffs. Since then, I have been doing everything I can to find work, applying daily and interviewing whenever possible. But the job market right now is extremely difficult. Despite my best efforts, I was not able to find a job yet. I reached a point where I spent all my savings with no stable income.

My lovely mom, who depends on me financially, has been my biggest source of strength. She always encourages me with a smile and words. And it broke my heart when I saw her crying in private because it breaks her heart to watch me struggle and feel hopeless. Since then, I tried even harder to find a job as well as my mom.

I am facing a financial hardship and having difficulty paying rent and bills. Everyday I study in the daytime, and Uber drive at night. But no matter how hard I worked, I couldn't make more than our monthly expenses. I even sold most of my furniture to survive each month which only helped temporarily. My biggest fear right now is getting evicted from home...

Fundraising here is truly my last resort. I am humbly reaching out to ask for your support in helping me and my mom keep our home while I continue my search for work. I really need your help to get through this difficult time. Your smallest contribution will make a difference in my life.
