Jason has dealt with ulcerative colitis for nearly 15 years without many complications. Things started to get more difficult a couple years ago when he spent 2 weeks in the hospital with his first flare up. He was put on an intravenous drip of medications every three months to control his issues.
On November 9th Jason had to step away from work due to his ulcerative colitis and believed he would be out for just a couple weeks. Things snowballed and he was admitted to ICU on December 20th with other complications and other things coming up. He spent over 60 days in ICU.
He was recently moved to a inpatient rehabilitation healthcare program to hopefully get him kick started on his path to recovery.
Asking for help isn't easy, but Jason and his family need it at this time. Even with good insurance, the cost of Jason's current care is overwhelming. If you are able to support in any capacity in their time of need it would be greatly appreciated.
