Dear All -
It is with sincere embarrassment and humiliation that I reach out and send this note.
I used to take joy and in pride in helping others who needed a hand, and well, now I need one. They say in desperate times to reach out...so that is what I am doing.
I left my job many years ago to care for my mom full-time for several years, as she battled her illnesses. It was the honor of my life. We were able to spend so much quality time together and became the best of friends.
Since her passing I have been looking for employment, and have yet to find anything. Had some nibbles, but no bites. I have sought full-time, part-time, temporary, contract, hourly, etc. Anything. But the job market is very, very tough and oversaturated with candidates.
I had hoped to avoid this route, but I am at the point where I can no longer afford my monthly bills, basic household items, even gas for the car.
So I am humbly reaching out for assistance, if you are so inclined, as I continue to look for employment.
Thank you for listening,
Jason Licar
