Help Jason keep a roof over his head
hi i'm Jason, I'm 24 years old living life in a school bus. I was forced to move into the bus before it was "liveable". i was granted permission from Enfield United Church Of Christ (rte 5) to park and live in the bus while I work on it. due to being a single 24 year old male, I can't afford rent (previously had a full time and part time job concurrently and still couldnt afford basic essentials) and have no other option but to live in the bus. I've looked into resources such as Enfield Housing authority but they only rent to "families", elderly or people that are disabled and receiving disability from SSA. I'm currently employed and working full time hours. the Town of Enfield threatened to fine Enfield UCC $150/day for each day I remain in the churches private parking lot. the bus is not registered or insured due to financial problems and I was given a week to move out .. I am asking for support in keeping my housing.(costs to register and insure the bus) I won't receive my paycheck from my current employer until mid October as they only payout once the employment term ends. I am not harming or disturbing anyone by parking in the far corner of the parking lot. I started two full time jobs that let me go before training ended because they didn't want a "homeless person" on their payroll. I know I'm asking alot but anything helps, if you can't donate please share. thank you from the bottom of my heart- Jason
