My name is Jason, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a truly difficult time. I have a diabetic foot ulcer on the bottom of my foot that keeps me from being on my feet at all. The ulcer becomes infected easily, and I’ve lost multiple jobs because of it. I can’t contribute to my household financially the way I want to, and it’s heartbreaking.
On top of that, I help rescue, spay/neuter, and care for cats—providing them with shelter, food, water, and love. They bring so much joy, but it’s getting harder to keep up with their needs. I’ve tried to find less physically demanding work, but I’m also dealing with loss of consciousness from a head injury and not enough nutrition, which affects my type 2 diabetes. I recently lost my home after my mom passed away, and I lost my job right when I needed it most to take over the mortgage and pay utilities.
The funds raised will go directly to essentials: fuel for my car, repairs, medical expenses not covered by insurance, animal rescue supplies, vet visits, and personal bills. I’m not asking for luxury—just enough to survive and keep my loved ones and the animals I care for safe. My gratitude for any help is immeasurable. My health has betrayed me after decades of hard work on my feet, but every living thing I care about will benefit from your support.
