Help Jason move to London for cancer treatment!

I really didn’t want to set up this appeal.
But I’m a single dad to amazing twin boys who mean the world to me. I want to stay strong and present for them - to keep life steady and normal while going through something that feels anything but.
In early June, I was diagnosed with a form of head and neck cancer that can affect speech, eating and everyday communication. I’ve already had two operations to remove the tumour – including a Neck Dissection (yeah, sounds like a dodgy heavy metal band, I know.)
My children are six years old.
I can't leave them.
I refuse to leave them.
That's why I'm trying REALLY hard to do everything right and put cancer in my rear-view mirror.
Thanks to this campaign – plus private loans from some brilliant humans – I’ve covered the £29,000 cost of private London radiotherapy with one of the world’s leading experts. Amazing!
So what’s left to do? Lots!
As I write, I have just 10 DAYS in which to find, pay for and move into a London flat for the duration of treatment.
I don’t live in London, where my radiotherapy will be given. So I need to be there, between August and November, to be close to both my children and my treatment. London rental prices are blowing my wig off, 15 years after I last lived in the capital!
On top of finding London rent, I need to keep paying my rent in Brighton.
Ten days.
The heat is on.
That’s why I’m asking for help - even though, after 35 years of self-employed independence, doing so brings me out in a cold sweat.
Over the coming months, this campaign’s target may shift depending on what the future throws at me – including the (hopefully unlikely!) possibility of more surgery.
Any help you can comfortably manage – big or small – would mean the world.
Thanks so much for reading.
