Hi, I’m Jason, a single dad to amazing six-year-old twin boys. I was diagnosed in June with a form of cancer. Since then, I’ve had two operations, including a neck dissection (yes, that does sound like one of the countless dodgy heavy metal bands I've written about over the last 35 years).

Thanks to generous gifts and loans from donors and friends, I’ve pulled together the £29,000 cost of private radiotherapy with one of the world’s top specialists - and enough money to cover two months of London accommodation while i'm having it.
