This past summer of 2024, Jason Forbes, a talented carpenter, loving father, friend, partner, and cherished member of our community, received the devastating diagnosis of stage 3 colon cancer. This diagnosis has brought not only emotional challenges but also significant financial burdens as he completed surgery and now faces ongoing chemotherapy treatments that will extend well into the new year. It is unknown when he will be able to return to work.

Jason is currently employed with Bruce Power BTU and a proud member of Carpenters Local 2222. We are asking the community for help to ease the financial strain during this incredibly difficult time.

Together, we can help lift some of the burden and allow Jason to focus on what matters most: healing and spending time with loved ones.
