Help Jason Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

My friend, Jason Flory, needs serious help.

He has been diagnosed with Stage Four Lung Cancer.

I’m Michael Goodstone, and I’m trying to organize some support for Jason and his family as they begin this incredibly tough journey. ALL FUNDS will go directly toward Jason’s living and medical expenses and to help support his family.

I met Jason a few years ago while working in the film industry, ( on the show Kindred) and I’m PROUD to call him a friend. I’ve laughed my arse off with this guy and worked hard alongside him on film sets. He’s one of those rare, genuinely good people you’re lucky to meet in life.

Jason is a helluva nice guy with an amazing sense of humor—probably one of the reasons we hit it off so well.

He’s also a proud and devoted father. His eyes light up when he talks about his daughter Kaitlyn and his son Preston. As a dad myself, I understand that feeling. I can’t fully wrap my head around what Jason and his family are going through, but I’m doing my best to be there for him—as a friend, and now, as someone trying to help however I can.

Jason is 48 years old and the proud father of 27-year-old Kaitlyn (who also works in the film and entertainment industry) and 12-year-old Preston.

A recent bout of chest congestion and flu-like symptoms led to repeated hospital visits. That’s when he received the heartbreaking diagnosis: Stage Four Lung Cancer.

On top of the emotional toll, there’s the financial burden—how to pay bills, afford treatment, and support a child. It’s overwhelming.
