Hi folks I am Jason Carriere, a former genomics scientist laid off by University of Oregon back in Septemper 2025 after a long and trying mental health battle that is still ongoing. They said it was for budget cuts, but they had banned me from campus after I had a mental breakdown when Alaska Airline refused me on the flight, I asked for a breatheanalyzer and was refused. And after escalating the situation for 10 or so minutes abruptly and without warning tackled me to the ground and I as tortured in solitary for 24 hours in Lane County Jail. That incident and being banned from UO sent me in a tailspin and I sadly succumbed to the bottle again for 2 months. I am back with 1+ yrs sobriety after relapse and over 3 yrs alcohol free out of the last 4. Unfortunately I had another breakdown when I forgot to take my medication on time and the establishment I was at called the police instead of an ambulance and this time I was immediately tackled by SPD, beaten, and tortured for 20 hrs in Springfield Jail. I both these cases probably cause was that I was being "annoying and tumultuos", which is in both city's statue for Disorderly Conduct. Seems a bit extreme.
This has been a tremendous amount of trauma and since the February incident I have been diagnosed with ADHD, Bipolar, PTSD, Substance Abuse Disorder, Neuropathy in both feet, left foot has zero stability, and awaiting diagnosis in functional neurological disorder. This causes all the involuntary seizures that caused me to be "resisting arrest". It happens whenever my brain gets overloaded. Neurological signals leak from my brain to my body and create a strange kind of seizure where I occasionally do not loose consciousness. I have receipts for this second beating and I plan on taking the city of sprinfield to court for police brutality. I probably have a hairline fracture in my left wrist.
Anyway, thanks for reading, the upshot is that I have applied for Social Security Disability but that means I cannot work, make money, or even do real work on my non-profit, The New Syntheis. I have $6500 in legal defense fees, and I am pleading guilty by way of insanity so that will require a $3500-4000 evalution. I have SNAP so I am not hurting too bad on food, but it would be nice to be able to do some things while I wait for the SSDisability to be approved. My lawyer thinks I am so f%&#ed up that I should get it. Springfield appears to want to railroad me into pleading guilty to some charges so my brutality case will not be as strong. If I can win this criminal case, I may have a chance at ending police brutality in Lane County, Oregon. So help a brother out and stick it to the man. Any Eug/Spring friends that see this please reshare as all my posts are shadowhidden for the local market. Jerks
