My name is Jason, and I am reaching out for help for myself and my 10-year-old daughter. Not long ago, our lives were turned upside down when I was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal and stomach cancer. The battle was long and difficult, and while I am grateful to now be in remission, the journey has left us with almost nothing. Cancer took away my health, my ability to work, and ultimately, our home. I am now disabled, and the financial strain has ruined my credit, making it nearly impossible to get back on our feet.
As if that wasn’t enough, three months into my cancer battle, we suffered another devastating loss—my daughter’s mom, my fiancée, and the love of my life, passed away. Suddenly, I was left to do everything on my own, trying to care for my daughter while fighting for my own life. I am currently trying to get disability benefits approved, but I was denied, which has made our situation even more difficult. We are currently homeless, trying to find stability and a safe place to call home. My greatest wish is to provide my daughter with the security and comfort every child deserves. The funds raised will go directly toward securing stable housing and covering our most basic needs—things like food, clothing, and daily essentials. Every bit of support brings us closer to rebuilding our lives and giving my daughter a sense of normalcy again.
I am deeply grateful to anyone who takes the time to read our story and consider helping us. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to me and my daughter as we work to create a brighter, more stable future. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
