It is my deepest regret to say that we have lost our brother Demetric Carr better known as Jason.
He was a victim of senseless violence while walking to the train for work early Thursday morning 10/12/17 around 3:45am which he had been doing for the past 3 weeks since starting his new job at UPS. He stopped for his morning coffee at 7-11 like he normaly does, shortly after he was confronted by two men in a compact car who shot him multiple times. The gunmen haven't been caught so we would like to raise funds to offer a reward for information leading to the conviction and arrest of the gunman.
Jason was one of the shyest, biggest, loving people you'd ever meet, he was like a big teddy bear lol. He would do anything for the people he loved and even for a stranger , mostly because he hated confrontation and wanted to be around good vibes. As a kid he hated sports unlike me and our sister Samone, he would rather spend hours playing with toys or video games.....literally hours! The three of us lost our mother at a young age so we became our own support system from that point on. He would complain that me and samone acted like his parent rather than his older brother and sister.
Jason will be leaving behind his father, grandmother, and four siblings. We would like to raise funds to help with funeral cost, end of life costs, and a reward for the arrest of the killers.
