Help Jason, a 14-year-old gifted boy with a huge passion for ballet, follow his dream of becoming a professional dancer.

After many challenges, he has been accepted into the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam, but he needs your help to continue his training.

Meet Jason

Jason is a talented and gifted 14-year-old boy with an extraordinary passion for classical ballet. His biggest dream is to become a professional ballet dancer and to study at Delft University of Technology.

Because of his exceptional giftedness, Jason doesn’t fit into the regular academic education system. Combining his ballet training with his unique educational needs has been challenging at times. Where others might have given up, he kept going, working even harder.

His perseverance was rewarded when, two years ago, he was accepted into a prestigious ballet school in Antwerp, where thanks to generous donations, he completed two years of ballet training and part of his secondary school exams. We are still deeply moved and grateful for the donations we received back then that enabled Jason to remain in Antwerp.

Sadly, due to an injury, Jason was unable to continue his ballet training in Antwerp from September 2025. Once again, he refused to give up.

A New Beginning at ESB

Over the summer, he worked incredibly hard on his physical recovery and his determination paid off. In September he was accepted into the prestigious European School of Ballet (ESB) in Amsterdam, where he is currently training.

Every day he is grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and be surrounded by inspiring, talented teachers. He is also able to combine his training in ballet with his academic education in a way that meets his unique needs and enables him to fulfil his full artistic and intellectual potential.

How You Can Help

To continue this journey, Jason needs your support. As a single parent, I am struggling to cover some costs that will enable Jason to fulfil his potential. Every donation, no matter how small, brings Jason closer to his dream. His education at ESB means more than just a dance education. It’s a place where Jason can truly be himself, where he feels seen, supported, and inspired.

For this school year, we need to raise €16.000, which covers:

Tuition fees: €10.540

Ballet wear and shoes: €800

Travel expenses :€4.200

Transaction fees for GoFundMe: about €460 (2.9% of the total amount and €0.25 per donation)

Na vele uitdagingen is hij toegelaten tot de European School of Ballet in Amsterdam, maar hij heeft jouw hulp nodig om zijn opleiding voort te zetten.

Maak kennis met Jason

Jason is een getalenteerde en hoogbegaafde jongen van 14 jaar met een uitzonderlijke passie voor klassiek ballet. Zijn grootste droom is om professioneel balletdanser te worden en later te studeren aan de Technische Universiteit Delft.

Door zijn uitzonderlijke begaafdheid past Jason niet goed binnen het reguliere onderwijssysteem. Het combineren van zijn ballettraining met zijn unieke leerbehoeften was vaak een uitdaging. Waar anderen misschien zouden hebben opgegeven, bleef hij volhouden en werkte hij nog harder.

Zijn doorzettingsvermogen werd beloond toen hij twee jaar geleden werd toegelaten tot een prestigieuze balletschool in Antwerpen. Dankzij gulle donaties kon hij daar twee jaar lang trainen en een deel van zijn middelbare schoolopleiding afronden.

We zijn nog steeds diep ontroerd en dankbaar voor de steun die Jason toen heeft ontvangen, waardoor hij in Antwerpen kon blijven dansen.

Helaas kon Jason vanaf september 2025 zijn balletopleiding in Antwerpen niet voortzetten vanwege een blessure. Maar opnieuw weigerde hij op te geven.

Een Nieuw Begin bij ESB

Tijdens de zomer werkte hij keihard aan zijn herstel en zijn inzet werd beloond. In september werd hij toegelaten tot de prestigieuze European School of Ballet (ESB) in Amsterdam, waar hij nu traint.

Elke dag is hij dankbaar voor de kans om te leren, te groeien en omringd te zijn door inspirerende, getalenteerde docenten.

Bij de ESB kan hij zijn balletopleiding combineren met een op maat gemaakt onderwijsprogramma, dat aansluit bij zijn unieke behoeften en hem helpt zijn volledige artistieke én intellectueel potentieel te ontwikkelen.

Hoe U Kunt Helpen

Om deze reis voort te zetten, heeft Jason uw steun nodig. Als alleenstaande ouder is het moeilijk om alle kosten te dragen die nodig zijn om Jason zijn droom te laten waarmaken. Elke donatie, hoe klein ook, brengt hem dichter bij zijn doel.

Zijn opleiding aan ESB betekent zoveel meer dan alleen danslessen – het is een plek waar Jason écht zichzelf kan zijn, waar hij zich gezien, gesteund en geïnspireerd voelt.

Voor dit schooljaar hopen we €16.000 in te zamelen, wat de volgende kosten dekt:

Schoolgeld: €10.540

Balletkleding en -schoenen: €800

Reiskosten: €4.200
