Help Jason Become an Addiction Counselor

I am honored to share that I have been accepted to the Hazleden Betty Ford Foundation Graduate School for Addiction Studies through their alternative admissions program. This is a unique opportunity for me, as I do not have an undergraduate degree and therefore do not qualify for federal financial aid. When I enrolled, I had income from side hustles that would have covered my tuition, but unfortunately, I lost those sources of income after starting the program. Despite this setback, I have almost completed my first class and currently have a 98% average, which shows how dedicated I am to succeeding in this field.

Throughout my career as a chef and restaurant owner, I have used my platform to advocate for important causes and support my community. My journey in long-term recovery has inspired me to dedicate the rest of my working life to making a difference for those facing addiction. This graduate program is the next step in that journey, and I am deeply committed to using my education to serve others.

The funds raised will go directly toward tuition for the program, which is primarily online with just two required in-person campus visits. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I am reaching out because I truly believe in the impact this work can have. I am beyond honored to have this opportunity, and I would be grateful for any support to help me realize this goal. Your encouragement and generosity will make a meaningful difference in my life and in the lives of those I hope to help.
