While visiting his son in North Carolina, Jason suffered a severe stroke. He is currently hospitalized in Norfolk, Virginia fighting through the early stages of what will be a long and difficult recovery. Jason is a fighter, determined and surrounded by people that love him dearly. The road ahead is uncertain and family anticipates months of recovery, rehab, and care before he can return home to Wisconsin.

His wife, Kristy, has remained by his side every step of the way. She is focused on supporting Jason through each day. Being states away from home has been overwhelming, emotional, and has come at an expense: travel, lodging, meals, and time away from work.

Right now, the biggest unknown is Jason's progress and when he'll be able to return home. We are asking for support to help ease the stress on Jason and Kristy during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation will go towards medical bills, help with necessary extended stays away from home, and ongoing expenses that will come with Jason's transport home and recovery.
