Help Jasmyn Follow Her Dreams to Parsons School of Design

A brilliant mind, a compassionate heart, and a future changemaker—Jasmyn needs your support.

Hi friends, family, and generous supporters,

My name is Esther, and I’m writing to ask for your help sending my daughter, Jasmyn Amirfazlian Dennis, to the Parsons School of Design in New York City—a dream she’s worked tirelessly toward her whole life.

Jasmyn is not your average student.
She’s a scholar, an artist, a leader, and a fighter.

At Santa Barbara High School, Jasmyn held a 4.3 GPA while juggling college courses, Advanced Placement classes, internships in fashion design, community leadership roles, and Varsity track. She founded and led the Black Student Union for four years, organizing events, workshops, and outreach to uplift underserved voices in our community. She served as Senior Class President and collaborated with local nonprofits to bring sustainable fashion and creative education to life for young people in Santa Barbara.

And she did all of this while battling a serious autoimmune condition that requires weekly injections and monthly infusions—fighting to keep her vision and her health intact.

Still, she’s never asked, “Why me?”
Instead, she asks, “How can I help others through what I’ve learned?”

Jasmyn’s dream is to become a sustainable fashion designer and creative leader—someone who uses art and innovation to address injustice, protect the planet, and tell powerful stories through style.

This fall, she was accepted into Parsons School of Design, one of the most prestigious art and design schools in the world. But even with financial aid, we’re facing a steep mountain:
➡️ $40,000 a year in tuition, housing, and medical expenses.

As a family, we have done everything we can to support her, but we simply cannot do this alone.

We’re asking our community—our village—to help carry her over the finish line.

Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, every donation brings Jasmyn closer to a future where her gifts can flourish. Your support is not just an investment in her education—it’s a belief in the power of resilience, creativity, and purpose.

Please share her story. Please give if you can.
And please know that whatever you contribute, you’re helping shape a future leader who will make us all proud.

With gratitude and love,
Esther Amirfazlian
(Mama of Jasmyn — proud beyond measure)
