Help Jasmine's fight with leukemia
Donation protected
Growing up in a military family, Jasmine spent the first 14 years of her life overseas (Japan, Guam, and Europe). Jasmine’s father served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, and eventually retired in Florida; where she finished up high school with honors. Following graduation, she set forth to fulfill her dream to work at Moffitt Cancer Center as a Pediatric Oncologist.
As first generation college student, she successfully graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelors degree in Biology. By the age of 23, she completed her masters degree in medical science. She had also been accepted to medical school. However, during this time she accepted a position at Moffitt Cancer Center in Experimental Cell Therapy. She fell in love with the position and ultimately chose to devote her passion to this field and make it a career. At 25 years old, Life seemed like it was just beginning - finished school and working a dream job! But, on May 5th, 2022, everything changed:

Jasmine was diagnosed with Acute B Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL); which is essentially cancer of the blood and bone marrow. A trip to the emergency room for chest pain led to its discovery, and a 6-week hospital stay.
However, Jasmine's cancer did not respond to the first round of chemotherapy as we hoped. Her doctors are now trying different chemo/treatment regimens in hopes of lasting remission. For the next few years, Jasmine will face extensive chemotherapy treatments and maintenance. All funds will help our family with lost wages, hospital bills, and medical supplies. Thank you.
