Those that know my sister know that she's never been one to bother anyone for anything. In my 43 years of living, I've never seen her with her hand out. She's always held her own for herself and her boys.

That being said, it took a lot for me to get her to give me the okay to creating this GoFundMe and putting her business out there.

We plan for a lot in life, especially as we age, but let's be honest, a cancer fund is probably one that we never or hardly ever plan for. I’d imagine it’s because we don't want to believe it can happen to us.

My sister was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and has already undergone a double mastectomy. Thanks to our amazing God, the surgery was a success and she is now home recovering. However, there's still additional procedures to undergo and she's expected to be out of work for at least 6 weeks.
