Hello from Jasmine and the rest of the Ramirez family!
We wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has helped Jasmine. She is now a recovering 14-year-old girl who survived a life-saving amputation of her left leg. Through strength and resilience, she has been recovering incredibly well.
Her surgery was an exhausting 16.5 hours to remove the mass and her left leg. Post-op was rough, but now she is thriving. The GoFundMe is to help Jasmine and her parents continue her care.
She has been discharged from the hospital and is now home. As she adapts to her new life, she will still need to continue seeing doctors and attending therapy multiple days a week, including multiple trips out of town—some several hours away.
Donations will continue to help pay for gas and essentials like food, as well as anything else needed to support Jasmine’s recovery. We are also beginning the process of getting her prosthesis, which the funds will help cover.
Thank you all for the continued support. We truly appreciate anything that is donated.
