Help Jasmine Tippins Attend UC Berkeley's Cancer Research Pr
Donation protected
Hi, we’re Jonesta and Orlando Tippins, and we’re raising funds to support our daughter Jasmine Tippins, who was recently accepted into the Molecular Biology of Cancer Workshop at UC Berkeley—a highly competitive summer program hosted by the Rosetta Institute.
Jasmine is a bright, curious, and driven high school student with a deep passion for science and a long-standing dream of helping others through medicine. As a minority student underrepresented in STEM, this program is a rare and powerful opportunity for her to engage in hands-on biomedical research, learn from top scientists, and explore college-level coursework focused on the molecular biology of cancer.
We couldn’t be more proud of her—but programs like this come at a cost.
We’re doing everything we can on our end—working overtime, flipping burgers, and stretching every dollar—but we’re still going to come up short. We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to cover tuition, travel, meals, and the essentials Jasmine needs to fully participate and thrive in this experience.
We know not everyone is in a position to give, and trust us—we wouldn’t ask if we weren’t already doing all we could. But if you’re able to donate or share this campaign, it would mean the world to our family. Every gift—big or small—makes a difference, and every share helps us get one step closer to Jasmine’s dream.
Thank you for supporting our daughter, and for investing in what she’s becoming.
With love and gratitude,
Jonesta & Orlando Tippins
