Hi, my name is Jasmine. If you're reading this, you're most likely getting an Uber ride from me. So, I want to thank you in advance for riding with me today and helping me in this hard time.

In February, my mom got hit by a car while crossing the street. She had to have multiple brain surgeries due to internal bleeding. After being in a coma for 2 months, the doctors told me she was brain dead and there was no chance of her coming back. They said the best option was to pull the plug, so that is what I had to do.

Unfortunately, because she was in a coma, her insurance expired. Her boyfriend was her next of kin, but instead of being a good boyfriend and taking care of her, he took all she had and ran off with it. So that is why I'm asking for help to try to fundraise as much as I can to pay off her medical bills as well as be able to have a memorial service for her. I am the only child, so I'm doing this all alone and have to keep a smile on my face and keep working every day without any time to grieve until everything is taken care of.
