Help Jasmine Return to College This Winter

Hello! My name is Jasmine, and this Christmas I'm asking for help to get me back into college!

Last fall, I began my freshman year at Vermont State University Johnson campus with intentions of getting my degree in art education. Shortly after I began school, my stepfather, Jeff Crowe, was struggling with Alzheimer's, while my mother, Jinny Janesik, was struggling to balance work and taking care of him. I took it upon myself to withdraw before it was too late to come home and help take care of my stepfather. He passed away comfortably at home this June, surrounded by love.

I spent all summer working on paperwork to get back into school. I even moved into my dorm with my roommate, but the school then informed me that I had a back balance of a little under $2000. I, along with my mother, do not have this money. We're having to pay bills and other day-to-day costs. With the help from my mother, we have been able to make a payment of $99 for the past few months, but at that rate, I won't be able to go back to school until February of 2026.

I know I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by amazing people that have helped me through rough times in my life, so I'm asking one last time for some help. If we reach my goal by December 30th, I'll be able to return to school for the winter semester. Thank you so very much, and I am grateful for absolutely anything you can give :)
