Help Jasmine Open Her Dream Bakery

For anyone who doesn’t know me and my story, I’m Jasmine. I’m 28 years old and am due with my first baby this month (July)!

My dream for years is to have my own bakery, and while I technically do, I don’t have a storefront to call my own.

Recently a really cool and exciting opportunity popped up and I have to go for it. My biggest issue is that I’ll be out of work for a few months when my baby girl makes her grand arrival, and I have enough in my savings to cover that.. but, I don’t have enough to cover that AND make sure that the landlord for this potential bakery space is comfortable that I have the start up funds required. My fear is that I’ll miss this opportunity and it’s the closest I’ve ever been. Just not the best timing.

I’d love to be able to support this business adventure without having to be there 24/7. I have great support and would like to hire some additional help to keep things rolling come grand opening. I also need to be a mom and need to feel successful in that. Any funds contributed will help to pay for staffing as well as initial expenses so that I can accomplish all those things. It’s a tall order and will be challenging but as I said earlier, I need to go after this opportunity.

I don’t ask for help, especially with money. I work hard to make sure I don’t need to. I am humble enough to know when something might be too challenging to handle on my own. This specific scenario could go either way but I know that if I am able to provide proof of more capital, I can show I have the means to cover start up costs AND that I have the backing of the community which would really be something.
