Help Jasmine Heal: Support Her Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Yessenia, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend Jasmine Porter. Jasmine is one of the most strong, selfless, and beautiful souls I’ve ever known. She’s the kind of person who will always show up for others, even when she’s going through tough times herself. She would never ask for help..but as her friend, I know how much she needs it right now.

What Happened

On October 19, 2024, Jasmine was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while on her way home. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed a series of scans to evaluate her injuries.

They found that her collarbone was broken into three pieces, and she was also suffering from road rash, deep bruising, and multiple stitches. But during those scans, they discovered something far more frightening: a brain aneurysm.

What She Needs

Jasmine now faces a long and uncertain medical road. She needs two separate angiogram procedures to address the aneurysm:

1. The first will use high-definition imaging to determine the safest way to repair the aneurysm.

2. The second will repair the aneurysm, a life-saving procedure.

Before any of this can begin, Jasmine needs another critical scan that costs $600, and the cost of the procedures themselves could reach tens of thousands of dollars. She doesn’t have the means to cover this, and that’s where we come in.

A Family Fighting Together

Jasmine lives with her longtime boyfriend, Aaron, who is doing everything he can to support their family financially during this time. He will also be the one caring for Jasmine during her recovery.

To make matters even harder, Jasmine doesn’t have much family support—her father passed away unexpectedly during her surrogacy journey, a loss that she still deeply feels to this day. Despite that pain, she kept going because she believes so strongly in helping others.

Why Jasmine Deserves Our Support

Jasmine is a dedicated mom to her beautiful daughter Sophia and one of the most giving people I know. In 2023, she became a surrogate, carrying and delivering a child for a family who couldn’t do it on their own. She was hoping to help more families in the future, but this medical crisis has left her feeling scared about her health, her future, and her ability to be there for her daughter.

Now it’s our turn to support her.
