Help Jasmine Fund

Jasmine is a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma studying music education. She is a talented clarinetist, currently performing with the UCO Wind Symphony. She has also performed in the Symphony Orchestra, Stampede of Sound and multiple chamber groups. You may have seen her when she worked in the School of Music office and as a stagehand. She is also one of our top volunteers to assist with audition days. She hopes to finish her degree and then pursue a career in elementary music education.

Jasmine has hit a bit of a rough patch this semester and needs our help. She was commuting from her parents in OKC this semester while also working at Target in Edmond. Unfortunately, she was involved in a car accident and her car was totaled. She has been staying with friends in the Edmond area, but has worn out her welcome.

Our top priority is to find a safe place for her to stay while finishing this semester in the Edmond area (walkable to UCO/Target). Secondly, she really needs financial assistance to purchase a reliable car so that she can move back with her parents when classes end. This will allow her to work on her third goal; saving up to pay off her bursar account and enroll for the Fall.

She has applied for all possible scholarships through the University and has also sought additional work babysitting, housesitting and petsitting. If you can spare a few dollars to help this deserving student, it would be much appreciated!
