At just 30 years old, I’ve received news no one ever expects to hear — I’ve been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. In just a few weeks, I’ll begin 20 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery as part of my treatment plan.

Not only am I facing this battle with all the strength and hope I can gather, but so are my husband and my 10 year old son. My husband has already experienced the pain of watching his own mother fight breast cancer just a few years ago, and now he’s watching his wife go through the same journey.

Even with insurance, the financial strain is overwhelming. I’ll need to take time off work during treatment, and while disability coverage helps, it only replaces about 60% of my income. Your support will help ease the stress of medical bills, household expenses, and daily costs, allowing me to focus on what matters most — healing and staying strong for my family.

This diagnosis has turned my world upside down, but I’m holding onto faith, gratitude, and optimism. I’m thankful this was found early and that it is curable.
