My daughter Jasmine and her partner Lauren recently moved to Indian Rocks Beach after both graduating from college. They were both excited to start their first professional jobs and begin their lives together, living away from Orlando, the home Jasmine had always known. Just one month after moving into their very first place on their own, an unexpected electrical fire destroyed everything they owned. The fire happened today, which is also Jasmine's birthday, making the loss even more heartbreaking.

They lost not only their home and belongings, but also their beloved cat, Taz. The ashes and cherished memories of Jasmine's childhood cat, Janet, were also lost, along with all the materials and devices they used to create visual and digital artwork. Every art piece Jasmine had made, and everything else, is gone. Now, they have nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The funds raised will help Jasmine and Lauren secure housing and replace the items lost in the fire.
