Support Jasmin’s Anthropology Internship in Romania

Jasmin Allena is completing her junior year at Trinity University (TU) where she is majoring in Anthropology with a concentration in Forensics. At 20yo, Jasmin works as a Program Assistant for Abston Therapeutics, as a Student Worker for Trinity’s Office of the Dean of Students, and as the owner of Upgrade U Hair and Nails. She is an active participant in student panels to voice student concerns and is the Public Relations officer for Trinity's Black Student Union while maintaining a GPA of 3.92.

She has been accepted into the Archeotek Medieval Cemetery Excavation Internship this summer and will be spending 4 weeks in Romania from June - July. Cemetery Excavations is exactly what you think it is...digging up graves and extracting bodies. However, Jas will take it further by gaining hands-on experience examining the bones and remains to determine who, how old, from where, what gender, and what nationality or race the person was. She will be traveling with a group of students and chaperones from around the country. Jasmin was awarded a scholarship from The Boyd Foundation to cover half of her expenses and we are fundraising for the other half.
