Help Jasmin to Walk with a Bioness L300 Go!

Join Freedom to Walk Foundation to raise funds for the Bioness L300 Go device, to help Jasmin to Walk Safely. Jasmin is 13 years old and was the sole survivor of a crash that killed her parents and grandparents. She suffered severe injuries. She is diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury and is experiencing Foot Drop. (Please see TV News video below.)

The Bioness L300 Go is worn on the calf. It sends electric impulses to the affected foot, causing the foot and leg to lift. Foot Drop is a weakness or paralysis of the muscles involved in lifting the front part of the foot. It causes a person to either drag the foot and toes or engage in a high-stepping walk called steppage gait.

Freedom to Walk Foundation, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We Educate, Empower and Inspire patients experiencing Foot Drop due to Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury, and Traumatic Brain Injury, on how to overcome financial obstacles through fundraising efforts and to subsidize the cost of electronic mobility devices which improves their quality of life to Walk, Play and Work.

The Bioness L300 Go is FDA-approved, but most insurance companies are denying coverage for the device. With an out-of-pocket cost of $5,500 per unit, the cost is prohibitive for many who see the device as an invaluable opportunity to improve their quality of life.
